Dr. Herzog may be okay, but his accounting office is CRIMINAL. I gave my daughter my CC to use ONE TIME, and the office continues to charge it although each of us specifically told them they DO NOT have permission to keep my card on file. When she called to get it straightened out, they said they will keep charging until she gives them a new card. On what planet do they decide to get to hold me ransom for trying to help! Thank God for Bank of America so we can keep criminals from taking money at will!!!!

Dr. Herzog is wonderful! He takes his time, asks lots of questions & really listens. You can tell he actually cares about his patients & wants them to get better. Other psychiatrists I’ve experienced spend 10 minutes max & are basically pill pushers. Not Dr. Herzog! For the first time in a very long time I actually have hope thanks to him & his personalized treatment regimen. Highly recommend!

I find Dr. Herzog to be incredibly unprofessional and unqualified. 10 minutes prior to my first appointment with him for ADHD testing, I was informed that he would not see me until I visited with a doctor and sought treatment a potential alcohol abuse issue. This was purely based on a questionnaire that I had answered and submitted two months ago. If he had the common decency to speak with me, he would have learned that since then, I had drastically reduced my alcohol consumption by cutting it out for an entire month and keeping it moderate otherwise. Additionally, this told me that he looked at my file a mere 10 minutes before the appointment and did not adequately prepare for our first appointment ahead of time.

It seems to me that he finds it appropriate to recommend treatment based off an old questionnaire. I would advise anyone to simply scratch this psychiatrist off your list and find one who is willing to actually hold an appointment with you before drawing conclusions.

Dr. Herzog changed my life. I was afraid to drive, live alone, go places, etc. and realized I needed help outside myself. Almost 2-3 years later, he helped me with my emergency type issue of Post-Partum Depression and called to check on me on his day off. He actually cares about his clients and listens. He tailors medications for you personally and is not just a pill pusher. He's amazing and allowed me to get my life back, more than once!
