This Mediterranean restaurant had its ups and downs. The veggie sampler was delicious, but my chicken shawarma was dry and the presentation was underwhelming for the price. The chicken tawook, however, was flavorful and juicy. Service was spotty with mixed-up orders and slow refills. While the atmosphere was quiet, the dusty windows and dead bugs in our booth detracted from the experience. It's worth a try, but I prefer other Mediterranean spots in the area.

It was my first time going and I was so glad I had. The atmosphere was very inviting. The food was flavorful and savory. I ordered the first sampler on the appetizer section, it was well proportioned and the food taste amazing. I then ordered the land and beef plate they offered, my father got the charbroiled lamb. Both dishes were seasoned and marinated to perfection. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone n the area or passing through. The owner was very polite and his wife, the cook has such amazing talent.

Ali Baba Mediterranean Kitchen is an absolute gem! We visited twice in one day yesterday, and each experience was amazing. For lunch, Joseph (who’s not only a wonderful server but also works in the kitchen!) was incredibly helpful with the menu, and I decided on the Chicken Shawarma. It was perfectly seasoned, tender, and the rice was packed with flavor. But what really took the dish to the next level was the sauce — it brought all the elements together beautifully. The Water Cucu and Mint Lemonade were incredibly refreshing and complemented our meal perfectly.

We loved it so much that we returned for dinner the same day! This time, we tried the Kafta Kabab and Cake by The Ocean drink. - Also, the Walnut Baklava for dessert ?- Once again, the food was exceptional, and the sauce added an extra layer of flavor that really made a difference. The drinks were a refreshing change from the usual options you find at most restaurants.

Ali Baba’s menu truly offers variety, and we can’t wait to visit for the third time this week!!

P.S. When we went there for dinner, we noticed there were DoorDash orders coming back to back! I remember thinking, "Woah, it's no wonder they have so much business!"

First off, I’m spoiled by all of my options in DFW - so take this with a friendly grain of salt. I was a little taken aback by the lack of veggie / salads available as “regular” sides, especially on a shish-kabob plate. I ordered the lamb and rice and finally broke down and decided to bite the price and add my favorite - tabbouleh as a salad option since part of my whole preference for Mediterranean food includes their salads and veggies. The lamb was good, if a little bland, with little options to season it a tad more. The rice was good - but I would have been fine with half the portion and some veggies. The tabbouleh was excellent - to be sure - and I would love their recipe!
All in all, I *would* come back here on a special occasion - but I think they are a bit overpriced, and that actually may be hurting their business as there were only three tables seated the whole time we were there, and we paid $60 for two plates and the tabbouleh side was basically $10!

I could do the buffet at Dimmasi’s in Dallas for a tad less…

Amazing selection of Mediterranean food. Everything has such a diverse range of spices that are expertly layered on top of one another. Combined with the atmosphere, reminds me of eating at the restaurants in the Souq Waqif. Absolutely delicious.

For the first time visiting this place last week on our way to California. They provided Delicious food, great service, and specially our server I think his name was majd having a great attitude and took care of us very well. The only issue we have is with the owner, which he charged us $39.91 because we’re a family over 5 people ? I had the worker called him and asked him why he charged extra? His respond was because we’re more than 5. Not sure if that legal but my opinion is, you should give a discount for groups not charging more. Specially when your restaurant is empty, it was only my family and another 2 people in the restaurant that time. I don’t want your discount, but at least put sign on your entrance saying that you charge more money for over 5. That’s my experience in this place and hope the owner sees this and charge his mind

Walking in, we were enthusiastically greeted by a young lady who was also our server. I ordered a mint lemonade and some very smooth humus to start with. Upon arrival the pita was a bit burnt, but it wasn't bad. Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and helped me make a great choice for dinner. All in all we had a great experience and good food, we will be back. ?
