Fantastic service with a great food and wine selection. The staff were excellent and made us feel very welcome and not rushed.
The lamb chops were out of this world !!

Came here late on a Wednesday evening and were so impressed with everything. We had the beef and vegetables stuffed peppers to start, definitely big enough to share and so warming. For the mains I had the sea bass and my boyfriend had the chicken cacciatore. Both were incredible and both plates completely clean despite being so full.
Such a lovely family ran business, we spoke briefly with the chef too who was lovely and the service was so personal and fun. Our whole experience was wonderful and free limoncello at the end!
Really recommend for family home cooked food and amazing service.

The restaurant is super clean and cozy. Albanian traditional details make it look very interesting and it’s a great way to promote/introduce a different culture in the area. Food is AMAZING 🤩 super tasty and affordable.( the food was gone before we got a chance to take some pictures) 😂 The family who runs the restaurant are the most beautiful (in&out) people we have met in a long time.
We felt well looked after and had a great experience dinning in.
Highly recommend OLIVETA as a great restaurant to dine.
Thank you for having us and looking forward to come again when visiting Harrogate xxx

Easy to say amazing! Fantastic etc! Not easy to deliver.
First off the welcome and service from Kote and his daughter was first rate.
Food authentic and uncomplicated.
Traditional Mediterranean fare with a friendly Albanian twist.
Excellent wine knowledge, large portions, delicious homemade deserts.

Enjoyed our chat at the end about the history of Albania from a proud Albanian.
Would recommend.

We visited here one Saturday evening after the seeing the positive reviews and it certainly lived up to the hype! The welcome was friendly as soon as we arrived and we were seated at a table in the front of the dining area. It’s nice that the tables aren’t too cramped together and the table itself was spacious enough for a couple. The service of drinks was really fast, and remained so when getting refills throughout the meal which was fantastic.

The menu is a good size and has a nice mix of traditional Mediterranean dishes as well as some more recognisable options. The stuffed pepper with beef starter was sizeable and really tasty. The king prawn starter had a very good chilli kick, although the white wine sauce seemed more tomato to me, and an extra ciabatta slice would have been welcome, but was also very delicious.

The main Greek gyros dish was again sizeable with succulent meat, and the traditional tave kosi was impressive, with the lamb tender as promised. Service time was quick, presentation great and the two courses filling. We still decided to sample the tiramisu though and it rounded everything off perfectly with more decent presentation.

The whole atmosphere is cosy and enjoyable, as well as being in keeping with the style of food on offer. The service from all the members of staff was great and it was a very enjoyable evening. A lovely restaurant and I’d highly recommend!

What a great restaurant. Everything first class. The menu has a really good selection which makes it difficult to choose, but rest assured whatever you choose, you won't get food envy, because all the dishes are lovely and came out piping hot, on preheated plates. Service was attentive and friendly. Highly recommended.
