Loved it, we went at 3 pm so it was nice and quiet, just how we like it. The food was amazing. We had lamb chops and the seafood casserole. Both were absolutely delicious. We usually don't have deserts, but the owner was kind enough to offer baklava to us for free, and they were absolutely delicious. Will definitely order them next time. Great service and highly recommend. Thank you for a lovely meal.

A True Gem in Penarth!

I absolutely love everything on the menu at Keyif Restaurant, but their pirzola (lamb chops) is my absolute favorite! Perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor—every bite is a delight.

Booked last minute for an early table on new years eve, before a visit to the glee club in Cardiff - all I can say is WOW the food is incredible!!! first time here but def wont be the last, the BEST tsatsiki ive ever had in the uk - everything was tasty & very well presented - we were even given complimentary baklava which was also delicious! We will definitely return 🙂

Recently moved to Penarth and we now visit frequently... amazing service and the food is very authentic. Generous portions and yes penarth prices but it is genuine quality Turkish food . Simple and delicious. Inside wall of photos with customers genuinely shows they care about the community and making a long term impact

Visited for dinner with family, Friday evening.

Food: absolutely excellent, no other description. Starters included mucver and a mushroom dish - the latter was perhaps the best I've ever tasted, no exaggeration. Mains: a seafood casserole, a lamb stew and a mixed shish. Again, extremely tasty, the meat was superbly sourced and cooked.

To accompany, we had a Turkish rosé wine: Lâl Kavaklidere. Recommended.

Service was personable, friendly and efficient. Top marks there as well.

Having finished work late, I called Keyif at 9:05 PM to see if they could fit me in. They kindly accommodated me, and I arrived at 9:15 PM. As always, I ordered the King Prawn main dish with rice and salad, which was as delicious as ever. I also decided to try a Margarita, which was well-made and refreshing.

On a quiet Tuesday evening, the restaurant was nearly empty, save for one other table. The service was prompt and efficient, with the Margarita arriving within 10 minutes and the main course following just 15 minutes later. The entire meal was wrapped up in under half an hour, and I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary serving of baklava to finish.

Once again, Keyif delivered an excellent dining experience. Their consistently great food, attentive service, and thoughtful touches make this place a firm favorite.

First review: 2023Had lunch on a Friday- very quiet: just one other table.

Fast attentive service- given some complementary dips and bread whilst waiting for mains - had the chicken shish with yogurt and fried bread. Meat was a bit on the dry side but the sauce made up for that- rather filling dish.

Had a complementary baklava to finish off.
All for under £20

First time trying keyif, friend of ours been, 5star was best turkish food Iv had Its also halal. Please double check only item that isn't halal steak. I would go again, kids love it enjoy it
