I have not personally had surgery with Dr. Wood, but I have referred patients to her - overwhelming positive experience from all. She is highly respected among the physicians in Dallas, and from what I have seen, holds her practice and herself to the highest standard. Always nice to see someone who puts this much energy and care into her patients.

My concerns regarding pain and downtime were way overblown. My experience was so much better than expected that I sped up my second hand procedure by months! Here are pics of my right hand. My issue was Dupuytren’s Contracture. Dr Wood did an amazing job and had been consulting me regarding my condition for many years as it continued to develop. I am very happy with the results!

My mom was treated extremely poorly by Dr Wood. My mom is 80 years old, and went to Dr Wood for a broken wrist. My mom has had nothing but problems with her wrist since Dr Wood treated her injury. Dr Wood is uncaring, condescending, arrogant, abrupt and liar. She sent a report to my mother';s primary care physician saying that she had done an ultrasound on my mom's wrist to figure out why there was still so much swelling in her wrist.....she NEVER ordered that ultrasound!!! In fact she blamed everything on arthritis, charged my mom for an expensive glove and sent her on her way. She is NOT compassionate, does NOT care about her patients. Please stay away from her.

Dr. Wood has done Carpal Tunnel release on both of my husband's arms. He did the left, and then a month later the right. Dr. Wood has been wonderful. She goes over everything, asks if there are questions, and she was straightforward about what her plans were to do. She makes sure that you wish to have surgery prior to going through with it. I have been very impressed. I've needed surgery done myself but hadn't found a physician. I have since scheduled a new patient appointment with Dr. Wood.

Dr. Wood examined my elderly mother's broken wrist. She respected our time, was kind, gentle, and compassionate. After a thorough exam, she recommended a conservative care plan that met my mom's needs. Highly recommend her.

I first discovered Dr. Wood in 2017 following a car accident in which I broke multiple bones in my wrist and arm. She put me in a cast and healed me right up following the cast removal and some hand physical therapy! After some tingling in my fingers, I returned to her office to get tested for carpal tunnel, and I ended up having early carpal tunnel. I returned to her office last year with growing concerns, as my hands were going completely numb driving, blow drying my hair, or doing anything with a vibration. She did some tests and referred me to do a nerve conduction test downstairs. After receiving the results, she scheduled me for carpal tunnel surgery in both hands. I have never had any major surgery before and was hesitant to do it in my hands, but she was very reassuring and assured me it was outpatient surgery. I did my left hand in September and my right hand in December. They turned out beautifully with very little noticeable scarring. My quality of life has improved so much since she did both surgeries. I love Dr. Wood!

We've loved the staff!! Dr. Wood has been very detailed and particular with her work. My husband's hand has been a bit of a challenge... but she hasn't given up!! Our therapist has been great and very thorough! The front office is always welcoming and helpful! Their office manager is extremely accomodating and has helped us through this entire process. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Wood was not a good fit for me or my needs at all, and actually caused my entire arm more pain after my initial visit. She made me feel like I wasted her time, and spoke condescendingly to me, making me feel like I had to justify my pain to her. My TFCC debridement and De Quervian release is now scheduled with another surgeon who actually took the time to order additional imaging and treat me like my arm was actually attached to the rest of my body.
